Below is a condensed version of the Session Guide sent to clients after booking :)
Let’s get into it
-
Location | Where Should We Go?
Location! Choosing the location of your session or event takes some introspect. Are you city slickers? Do you have a special spot or activity you do together? Keep in mind your comfortability when thinking about high traffic spots and the time frame. Stay true to yourself in what sparks your joy, whether that seaside or mountainside, or cozy in your own home. Anywhere you want to go I’m game!
-
Lighting
Just as vital as location, if not more- timing! Natural light is my favorite to work with. Either in the wee morning hours (I love my sleep too but trust me it’s worth it) or golden/blue hour just before and during sunset! Keep in mind the overall mood of your session you’d like to strive for. I always have an eye on sunrise and sunset times to make it easier to plan :)

Styling | What do we wear ?
I hear this as almost a panic mostly..this is of course subjective. Make wise choices with your location in mind, try to coordinate with your activity. Choosing something you feel beautiful in is key. It is very easy tell if we aren’t feeling good in our clothing. Make sure whatever it is you decide to wear that it fills you with confidence, you should feel like the hottie you are! I absolutely love fashion and encourage all kinds.

Posing | What if we're awkward ?
Ok to be real, 100% of my clients say this exact thing + shit! I have too! Getting in front of a camera can feel daunting for some. I understand completely + this is why I opt for a phone call or in person meeting prior to booking. Day of is very relaxed. Being comfortable is so important so that you are able to immerse yourself in the experience. It’s important to stay hydrated, eat something prior and most importantly- LEAN into the cheesy!! This is about having fun, I love low pressure environments.
